The Amazon Prime adaptation of Fallout has been an undeniable success with critics as well as audiences showering the show with praise. The hype for the show is unreal and they have already been renewed for a second season, at the same time the hype has also been contributing towards player numbers of all Fallout titles. However, thanks to this hype, many players have now become inquisitive about the new instalment to the Fallout game series, and it seems the development for the next title is being sped up by the likes of Xbox, learn more below.
According to a report by Insider Gaming, Xbox has understood the craze behind the franchise and is looking towards capitalising on it further. It seems that Bethesda is being pushed to develop the next title, which could be Fallout 5, as soon as possible. However, it is very hard to understand how the speeding up will help and when the game will arrive. At the moment it is being speculated that the next instalment won’t be here before 2030.
Moreover, through the Xbox Two Podcast, Jez Corden revealed that Xbox is “aware” of the demand that the Fallout franchise is creating and is working on bringing a new title to stores as soon as possible. However, at the moment it seems difficult for them to speed up the process without putting the next Fallout title under another studio, taking it away from Bethesda, who already has their hands tied with the likes of Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6.
At the moment, all we can do is be patient and hope for the best. Xbox understands that the show will help contribute towards the popularity of the upcoming game and the game will help build up hype for upcoming seasons.
