Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition joins Xbox Game Pass today
Acting as Lara Croft’s origin story, this Tomb Raider reboot sees the famed explorer leave behind her life to become a hardened survivor as she attempts to complete her father’s work. After becoming shipwrecked on a mystical island, Croft must rely on her instincts to survive the relentless danger waiting for her, while also attempting to uncover the forgotten island’s dark history. While this entry hasn’t got a huge number of puzzle-solving elements, what’s there is great to work through, and the need to scavenge for resources adds another reason to scour the environment as you work through the story.
If you do decide to dive into Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, completion estimates suggest you’ll need to set aside between 40 and 50 hours for the completion. The main story has a few missable achievements and the PvP multiplayer requires a bit of grinding, so it could be worth following our Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition walkthrough.
Players with an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass subscription can play Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can also stream it via Xbox Cloud Gaming. As this is the Definitive Edition, it comes packed with all of the game’s DLC, so you’re able to enjoy the full experience.
Microsoft has announced the first handful of games coming to Game Pass in May, including Kona II: Brume.
